Swanston Central

The Garden Room on Level 47 at Swanston Central creates a premium inner-city garden oasis. It gives residents a peaceful, elevated space to relax and unwind above Melbourne’s CBD. At the same time, it blends landscape design with architectural concrete to achieve a seamless balance between greenery and built form.

We designed and delivered 40 custom concrete planter boxes and 12 modular seating elements for this project. To streamline installation, we sized each component to fit within the building’s goods lift and transport it efficiently to Level 47. Once on site, our team carefully aligned the organically shaped modules. This approach defines and frames the space while creating a cohesive and functional layout.

We also designed the seating modules in front of the green wall with integrated castors. This allows easy movement and provides clear access for ongoing maintenance. As a result, the Garden Room delivers a highly considered rooftop landscape that combines durability, flexibility, and visual appeal while maintaining a refined balance between concrete elements and lush planting.
